"Transformative capacity lies in the intention of a word, an action, or a symbol.
My intention in creating this work is to make an offering of joy.
I explore the theme of transformation through appreciation, aspiration, and creativity.
In the practice of self-reflection, I learn to appreciate whatever flows along my life path.
In the practice of conscious living, I aspire to find celebration in everyday life.
In the practice of creative expression, I bring together separate elements
into a new unified structure.
I see every thread, bead, and fabric as a line, a shape, and a pattern of colour.
My imagery is inspired by transitions in nature and spiritual philosophy.
Handwork techniques like felting, sewing, and beading are repetitive in nature.
Such work provides opportunity for reflection on the power of intention
when it is repeated in the form of an action."
